Who is Metalkarin and why this blog

Although I'm Dutch, I mostly read and write in English. My blogs will be English too, since

1. I can reach a large audience

2. The books I review are in English as well

I mostly read contemporary BDSM romance, but I will also be sharing historical romance, dark romance and other genres.

Why BDSM Romance

First I live the lifestyle myself and I like to read about likeminded people. Second as a woman with a vivid imagination I enjoy reading the steamy scenes :)

Why 'metal' - I'm a big Heavy Metal fan. Some of my favorite bands are: Threshold, Nightwish, Anathema, Dream Theater, Therion, Within Temptation. But actually there are too many bands to name here.
